Hi folks, I applied at April 20th and I am a silent reader from quite few months, it literally took my nerve away after seeing April 20th appliers go away with success and no success for me. Fortunately just came to know before few hours, my wife BAckground is in progress. This forum was a great Help. God bless you all and best of luck.

Hi Robbie,

There is no set number for how long you stay outside the country what matters the most is how many days you have been inside the country within the last 5 years. 1095 within the 5 years span. I was out of the country for 9 months at a time, but had completed my 1095+ days in the country.

Hope this helps.
