Hi there an important question, Do I need to apply for the CSQ FOR MY sponsored wife? I live in Quebec and intend to live in quebec with my wife.

Hi,

Yes you have to apply for CSQ.

It will only happen after you get the SA(Sponsor Approved) letter from CPC-M.

When you apply for CSQ, you have to compulsory put the copy of letter from CPC-M.

Can someone please help me through this? I have gone through the process twice and my search comes up empty. Is there a trick for making the search successful. I have tried different combinations such as UCI and Last name, App # and UCI, App # and Last name.....nothing comes up. Does this work only for the online applications or paper-based applications also?

U can't link the account ?? There nothing like paper based or online based , everyone could link the account unless some representative issues as said in this forum..! Follow that procedure carefully , it helped many including me

I've been trying as well and was finally able to link it based on suggesstions in the last few pages. Hers's what I did.
Used application number and UCI (my wife's UCI) for identification
Left city of birth blank (enter a space), selected the country
Entered all passport details - number, place of issue, issue/expiry date
City coming to in Canada - entered all info here - province/city
No. of people in application - 2

Hope this helps.

Thank you! My suggestion would be adding a personal touch to your application by providing a convincing invitation letter. Provide a really good reason for her visit and try to keep the stay short. I provided documentation in the form her bank balance, my job letter, marriage certificate along with a really long invitation letter explaining its importance for us. She didn't have any ties to India in the form of employment or financial obligations but I explained that she wouldn't jeopardize her application by overstaying on her visitor visa. Also try to provide as many documents as you can to make your case stronger. Hope this helps. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions. Good luck everyone!
