I am the unluckiest April applicant.
No change in status. I applied on 8th April still background not started

still they have not received visa. and they are totally helpless.

TRV can be applied during the FAM processing. The outcome is completely based on the Officer and the document requirements are slightly different. You can check them online. The TRV outcome will not have an impact on your FAM processing. Hope this helps

Does this work only for the online applications or paperbased applications also? I have tried twice already and the search comes up empty.

Can someone please help me through this? I have gone through the process twice and my search comes up empty. Is there a trick for making the search successful. I have tried different combinations such as UCI and Last name, App # and UCI, App # and Last name.....nothing comes up. But in pr docs marital status is Single
Wat i hve to do now,should i inform thm?

Please let them know asap of the corrections which need to be addressed. I wonder sometimes, all the FAM applicants are under the spousal category so how can they be single. This is gross negligence or careless attitude.

It's not too bad, few people have had this happen to them. The CBSA officer will correct it at the landing stage when you inform them - however, send them a CSE informing NDVO of the mistake and an email (that way you have a record of informing them of this error) even if they don't respond.
