Now you just need to wait mam. keep your fingers crossed nd check your email address regularly.

It's strange, almost every VO is Asia is speeding up for 2016 applications, including Africa and NDVO seems to have slipped back into a comotose phase! I just don't get how they work in such fits and starts - for a while it was looking optimistic! It's quite disheartening but patient is all we can be!

I can only imagine how 2015 applicants feel - absolutely nothing moving on that thread too!

I wonder if any of the delays have been due to the festivities happening in India for the last week. And with Diwali also coming up there may be further delays. October doesn't seem to be the best time for any of this.

Can't really see how - public holidays are already set and their main ones are coming up at Diwali and Xmas! Theremain vacation dates for Cdns are summer and xmas-ny! Security checks are with external agencies/CSIS and local ones for Background checks so maybe that could cause a delay. Maybe Local staff take time off but like any organisation, they will always have a rotation in place to make sure it's adequately staffed. And final decisions and reviews are usually with CDN officers I think - maybe I am wrong! Who knows?!

Anyone who has had success in TRV for a spouse in India who's not working, please message me. I want to apply for same and would like your help in forming the invitation letter, and also any necessary documents, including how much to have around in the bank, etc. We've already received the AOR2 in August and I'd like to get things together for the TRV in the coming month. Thank you and god bless you all. :)

Yeah, I thought so too about this, but I know things get really slow during any festivities in India, but yes may be different for the Canadians working there.

Congrats and happy married life :)

Any update in your file, bro?

I am also a June 13 applicant from Kathmandu, Nepal. The Background check still says "Not Started" :'(

Also, I am planning to apply for a TRV for my wife on November. My wife is just finishing up her Bachelor's in Nepal, and doesn't have any work experience. She doesn't have much money in her bank account. But her family and my family is there in Nepal. What are the chances of her getting a TRV? Anyone who's got a TRV, could you please enlighten me on what kind of invitation letter, and financial papers are required.

Thanks guys.
