Hello all..

I have received PPR today and it seems very strange as my Background check or DM still showing not started!!! however, the letter detailed that my visa will expire on November 14, 2016 which is the same date of my medical validity date. Since, all the members here who are worried about the 'status" update on your file, you can still get the PPR without any changes in your application status on the website!!!!

Anyone know if I want to send additional documents to prove my relationship is genuine, without being asked by NDVO - how do I send?
I am worried as I see "Recommend Interview" in my GCMS notes and I want to send as many proofs as I can so that it can be processed quickly.

I wouldn't send proof that they haven't asked for. Sending documents without them asking would make it seem more fishy. did you not attach enough proof to your application before? Did you wedding follow the usual religious practices. are there any extra ordinary circumstances that would raise their suspicion? In any case, you should wait until they ask for additional proof. I would start building a file of proof though in the event they do ask or if you are called for an interview.

Hi Pari123, yes I never thought of its also possible to get till I get the PPR. The additional document request email received on August 9th by email asking 'proof of re-establishment in Canada' for my husband, as he was in Canada since 2001 and he left Canada 2008. And after our marriage on 2009 he didnt go back to Canada till August 2015. During these years he lived in Dubai and India with me and our 2 kids (our kids are Canadian Citizens as well) for a period of 7 years. . Hence, they were asking the re-establishment proof which we submitted on August 28th to NDVO. Thanks

Yes i have submitted 50 marriage photos and other other relationship proof.

I have been asked to submit additional documents by NDVO so I just want to know in addition to mail them, how can we upload them and where ?

You can send email as well as courier
and also upload them
you can send by all three ways
upload via case specific inquiry limit on size 2 or 4 mb file (not sure the exact file size)

Hello guys..!!i am worried to death..just did MP enquiry on phone ..and he replied back today as
I have called CIC for both the files. The following has been completed:
· The assessments are completed
· The request for passport has not been made yet
· It can take up until September, 2017 to have a request made
· Everything looks good on the file.

All in all, they have until September 2017 to as for a passport request. We are just waiting on the request now. Everything else looks good.

I think you should send additional docs without even any request.But I may be wrong.
Check the NDVO 2015 thread too. They might have been through similar experiences and can suggest you more.
