Can anybody tell me.
Is it a good idea to submit/upload additional relationship documents in advance?

I have been asked to submit additional documents by NDVO so I just want to know in addition to mail them, how can we upload them and where ?

Please explain with links. Thanks in advance

I have a quick question on my application being processed . Sponsor accepted and application for PR is taken up on November 9 and started processing on Jan22.
CIC has requested for further documents on Aug 3 from Delhi which I had sent by email and post which I never had got any response till now and is not processed further.

Can someone please update how long does this process take to see if they had atleast received the information since there is no acknowledgement that they had received the documents and couldnt track and not sure if the PR process itself is extended overall.

Actually, I have also been asked to send additional documents on Oct 6, which I'm going to send by upcoming Monday. I want to just double sure that how did you send through mail (speed post/courier/normal post etc.??) because they haven't mentioned the exact mode. I agree that sending through email is also kind of full proof method (you just zipped everything e.g. pics, pdf, docx etc. and attached right??).

Also did you try and uploading it. If possible can you brief me with full details or inbox me.

Hello all..

I have received PPR today and it seems very strange as my Background check or DM still showing not started!!! however, the letter detailed that my visa will expire on November 14, 2016 which is the same date of my medical validity date. Since, all the members here who are worried about the 'status" update on your file, you can still get the PPR without any changes in your application status on the website!!!!

That does mean processing time is dependant upon applicant's country not the processing visa office.
I know Indian application take more time because there are lot of sham marriages. few bad people ******* for every one else.
I remember total processing time was less than 6 months for indian applications.

Hello guys..!!i am worried to death..just did MP enquiry on phone ..and he replied back today as
I have called CIC for both the files. The following has been completed:
· The assessments are completed
· The request for passport has not been made yet
· It can take up until September, 2017 to have a request made
· Everything looks good on the file.

All in all, they have until September 2017 to as for a passport request. We are just waiting on the request now. Everything else looks good.

Along with the hard copies of the documentation proof, you can always submit documents through case specific enquiry. The link is as below:

Though here you won't be able to attach lot of details as the total attachments size allowed in CSE is 3.5 MB (which is too less for pics). Still you can always include word docs with explanations and cover letter detailing information they have requested and let them know that you have submitted the hardcopies of pics and other details through courier/ post mail.

That's awesome news. I'm a June 17th applicant. But I don't fall in the backlog category which scares me a bit

because you are from Nepal, your visa process might be different from ours. In your case background check may be the first thing they start. You background check may start before because it may take longer to get results because its sent to another country. Hopefully I am wrong and your receive PPR on Monday. Good LUCK!!!

Anyone know if I want to send additional documents to prove my relationship is genuine, without being asked by NDVO - how do I send?
I am worried as I see "Recommend Interview" in my GCMS notes and I want to send as many proofs as I can so that it can be processed quickly.

Hey my wife had to get X-rays for the chest again as she got an email from the medical office saying to do it in 30 days or your file will be closed she did it 4 days ago and I was wondering when I will see an update on ECAS or mycic does anyone have any clue when it will say passed its in process on mycic for a couple of weeks

How come u get remedical request?
Medical is valid for a year!

They said something about re X-rays only as they send a letter on May 19 medical was done may 8 but my wife didn't receive any letter so they send an email about a week ago
