I am asking this question here because I wanted to get an Indian perspective on this, I am the sponsor (Canadian citizen) and my wife is from India.

1. Does my wife need to change her last name before we do our application? Does it make a difference if she doesn't change her last name?
2. For PCC, does she need to get more than one PCC if she has lived in different cities within India during her life?

1- She don't need to change her name on Passport. But you should have marriage certificate.
2- I guess she need one PCC for every country (not city)she stayed in (more than 6 months). wait for someone else's advice as well

Make sure you have enough proofs of communication/picture/phone calls/whatsapp etc
