In my case, all forms signed properly, attached 50 marriage photos, all forms are complete,
Almost all required documents submitted, PCC and Medical given. Correct fees paid.
I think they have kept the second marriage cases pending.
I am not sure but just guessing.

I am 31st march applicant.

Waiting capacity almost finished now..

I am 12 FEB 2016 applicant, waiting for background check to go into progress. I am just amazed at how NDVO works, it seems like a circus, they are picking and choosing whose files they work on. There's guys from 2015 still waiting. Sad part is my medical is expiring in jan, if medical expires then you have to wait another couple of months before they give ppr. This system is rigged...

Just letting u know that that message indicates that an officer opened your application and start working on it. So many congratulations am happy for you
It will be beneficial for all of us if u share ur tomeline as i couldn't get it from seeing ur old post...usually i dont ask for it i just find out from the older posts ty

My GC Key is showing Background Check "In Progress" today. The status changed sometime between yesterday late night to early morning today. I did not get any email notification or a GC Key message. eCAS status still "In Progress"

Timeline:
App received: 14 Apr
AOR 1: May 5
AOR 2: June 15

Hope everyone hears back soon.

I got DM made on ECAS just now. No email notification or anything. GC key still showing Back Check in process. No PPR yet.

I am not sure i am understanding your situation properly , as i have no idea how CSQ works as you have already sponsorship in process. No idea about Quebec rules.
If SA is approved ask your sponsor to call cic call center in Canada
They should be able to contact CPC to forward approval letter

So My Wife called CIC to inquire about SA letter /email. The answer was surprising.

They said, due to backlog of so many files, we have not yet sent latter. It will take about one month more.

Seriously !!....it will take two months to them just to send SA letter?

You will get mail/email regarding ur sponsorship approvals and u will have directions how to appy to csq....just wait for mail or call cic and ask them to resend if u missed

they are just saying it expect one in less than 2 weeks ty

But its already been 17 days !!

And more frustrating part is, after this letter arrive, CSQ process is gonna take one more month.

And NDVO will not start working on your file until they receive CSQ.
