So today there no PPR's from NDVO :-X :-X :-X But only changes in ECAS on Sponsor Side : :

Yesterday MY CIC status has changed "Background Check needed" from "Not Started" to "In progress".

Today I received an email alert from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that my application has been updated.

Also, today my ECAS changed sponsor side to Decision Made.

My fingers crossed for further updates!!

Received AOR2

Hi All,

Today I got AOR2.

eCAS status changed to DM for sponsor.

But my sponsor didn't received any email confirming the SA. is it normal?

My sponsor is from Quebec. so next step will be the CSQ.

Also in my AOR2, i am confused about following lines. WE have paid the fees & submitted the police clearance when application was filed. Do i need to send those docs again?

· Proof of payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid. Note: dependent children are not required to pay the Right of Permanent Resident Fee.
· Submission of police clearance certificates for you and all dependent family members who are 18 years or older, for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted. Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

my ECAS Sponsorship Application Status changed to- Decision made ,but rest everything is same not sure what does it mean ,addition I have applied for TRV on August 4th and that also in progress ,anyone is having any Idea please do let me know .

Its just regular email everyone get after file reached India.just ignore if already paid .

but background check is still in IN PROGRESS stage since last month. still waiting for PPR

Hello,

I am preparing for spousal sponsorship application outland. For the marriage certificate as per the checklist i need to provide a copy of the certificate. Nothing else is expected. But on my certificate there is a stamp at the bottom which states that to use this document in foreign countries it needs to be authenticated by MEA, India. Now this sounds like a pain. Do i really need to do do this?

Yesterday I got the letter for Sponsorship Approval and today the Sponsor side changed to Decision Made. Nothing to rejoice, its just that CIC sent out posts altogether from March-June applicants for SA and updated today on ECAS. I once asked CIC agent and she told me that CIC sents out notifications for SA in batches. That's why we all can see this Decision Made on SA side. I hope its clear to everyone now.
