Hello Gunnershat,

If you want to sponsor your wife in that case no minimum income is required. If you have no job in that case no problem at all. If you get part time job in future, there is no problem in your sponsorship.

All the best

Regards
Farhana

At this case what kinda income document shall i include in my application package. Can i apply without the income or employment letter? In the document checklist they want proof of employment (Item Number 18) :

Proof of Employment
If you are employed, provide an original letter from your current employer stating your period of employment, salary and regular hours per week. If you have a co-signer who is employed, include a similar letter from his or her employer.
AND/OR
Proof of Income
For the 12 months preceding the date of sponsorship, if you and if applicable your co-signer:
* are the sole owners of , or partners in an unincorporated businesses, provide evidence of self-employment income (statement of business activities)

*received interest on income earned provide evidence of interest income (bank statement showing rate of interest, deposit amount and length of time deposit held)

You can provide them with your bank statements
Your goods and properties back in india
Any other financial asset you have it in canada or india
Your 2014 and 2015 tax returns
Any other part time jobs you doing
You may think about what you got as a financial assets that you can produce as a proof of income

They only will check to see you are not on any kind of financial help from gc (like disability /family/unemployment benefits from gc).it doesn't matter if u got a lots to show

Does anyone know how to order GCMS notes?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Nishakat

As they clearly ask first question that "Is your sponsor residing in India right now ??" Answer this question and provide documents according to it.

if yes then you have to provide his tie's with Canada by providing some of the following documents as per noted " Attach photocopies of return ticket to Canada, Copy of stamps on your passport, job offer in Canada, employment contract in Canada, Property rental agreement, Property Deed, mortgage on property or any other documents supporting your intent to reside in Canada"

If you husband already in Canada right now the provide them again "Current Job letter, any property document (if he owns any like house, condo etc), if he is renting then provide renting lease documents, or any other documents which shows he wants to live in Canada now forever.

As you have mentioned in previous comment he is already living in Canada, then don't worry just shows his ties or intention to live in Canada in future. You will be good to go.

Hi rammy_xyz,

Thanks.. my husband will provide them the current job letter as well as the house rental agreement and will explain why he was away from Canada last few years and why he want to stay in Canada now for good. for us, our kids is our priority and there school and future is most important to us now ans that will be the intention to live in Canada forever. Hope this will be good enough to prove the immigration ..

Thanks again..

Online Status shows:

Eligibility: "Review in Progress"

What do they actually check in this review of eligibility and how long will it really take?

If this stage alone takes several months.. Does it even make sense?

Why don't they just reveal us the real status that our file is "idle" or "sitting on a huge pile of pending files" whatever the truth is!

How and what ways CIC like to send photos of pre and post marriage ceremony ? How many need to send to CIC? Do I need to send 4*6 size photos ?

Once u have applied and got aor two and linked your application u could upload once they ask for more
If u are going to apply send it with initial application
You can always currier all your pics to ndvo directly too
There is no standard format it should be visible abd clear so u can print or send actual pics
