Linking worked for me. :)

The Key was to leave place of birth and country blank.

It still won't work for me.... in fact, I can't even pull up my husbands file on eCas using HIS info. I can only pull it up using my own. So I am wondering if they entered in a typo in his birthdate or something or his passport info. I put the application number and his surname, and followed rest exactly and still no file found. Same with the ecas using his info. If I use his surname and birthdate, it wont pull the file up, but if I pull up ecas using my own info, I can log on and see both the sponsor application and his application status - of course his app has been showing In Process since 21 March which is why I want to see what activity has been done if any!

I dont understand because he told me that he was able to log onto the ecas using his info before. I am worried maybe the file got deleted or something??

He is in Canada.. we didn't submit his return ticket to Canada as we didn't see any request that we should submit the return ticket copy.. since he is a living in Canada and working in Canada we didn't see any necessary to submit his return ticket with the application. Just for the information he is a Canadian citizen as well and we dont know what to prove the intention of his intent to reside in Canada!

Hello Nishakat,

Visa office required some documents from you. If you not submit these documents before 30 days visa office will refuse your application.

First you need to proof of intention of re-establish in Canada. It means you have to explain that what is your intention to live in Canada and you are now permanently decide to live in Canada and you are not leave Canada. You have to proof it by explanation of your situation. The reason is that you sponsor your wife if you not live in Canada why you sponsor your wife in Canada.

Second photocopies of return ticket of Canada, copy of stamps on your passport.

Third if you have any job offer letter in Canada send the visa office.

Forth employment contact in Canada means you need to letter from your job place where you are currently working.

Fifth your rental house agreement paper where you live in Canada

Sixth If you have any property in Canada, in that case you have to send the property documents papers to the visa office.

Sponsor will send all this documents .All this documents you have to mail within 30 days to the visa office.

Hello farhana,

He was in Canada from 2000 till 2008 May and he has to take a break and came back to India as his mother was very ill. And then he marry me 2009..since, he extended his stay in india till July 2015 as obviously he could't leave me and our two kids (6.5 yr girl, 4 yr boy) :). However, he had to go back to Canada to sponsor me as we want our kids to start their school in Canada. Although our kids are Canadian citizens and they can go to Canada anytime, practically its not possible for our kids to stay in Canada without me isnt?. Anyway, since we did submit the Job letter along with the application, what else we should send them now?

Thanks
Nisha

As a citizen he has to prove that he would reside in Canada. Since he is in Canada, send the return ticket or passport pages showing stamp that he arrived in Canada And letter from his employer with recent date which will prove that he is living and working in Canada. I think he should suffice
