Hello All,

I have applied for my spouse in May 2015 and still have n't received anything. The status has not moved from "Medical results have been received". I also filed for GCMS case notes and they also came back as all good with the status of medical reassessment but so far we haven't received any letter for medical reassessment.

Please advise, I am really worried. Is it going to take exactly 19 months?

Received SA Approval. Called CIC and got to know it was given on 26th July. Now the real wait begins....

I was finally able to link my app today after a wait of one whole week.
the details are as follows -

Where is this application? Details
Application/profile status -Open
Review of eligibility -Review in Progress
Review of medical results -Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview -Not needed at this time
A background check is needed -Not Started
Final decision -Not Started

Its pretty much the same as all of you.
Let's hope for speedy processing :-[

I am a landed PR(Nov 15)

Came back due to no job and got married in April in India.

Now I want to go back to Canada for good with my wife.

Both of us are in settled careers(both are CA) earning very good pay. The outland sponsorship takes so long that I cannot wait.

Can I apply for a TRV first and then file a SCLP in Canada along with an open work permit.

Please let me know guys!

U can apply for trv and sponsor inland but no guarantee for a trv
