Temporary foreign workers international students etc getting their spouses open work permits and trv in 9 weeks time from ndvo and there is no delay for their wp application whatsoever. Means ndvo is going at good pace in economic categories. Dam...it...

I have had my file in process for about 3 weeks now. I know it's too early for DM. But, looking at the 2016 ndvo spreadsheet, it seems like no progress has been made for people waiting to have decision made.

Does anyone know how long it can take for DM? A lot of people are still waiting for their DM since April. Any time line or average time it can take? Thanks.

Someone with high knowledge and proficiency in english politics and other tactics can build up a new petition that we were talking about and start our capaign right away ....this is something we need to do asap....my friends if u gonna wait i am pretty sure we wont be able to see our spouses in the near future.ty

There was a petition to speed up the spouse visa on CHANGE.org prior to ur petition. barely 40-50 people signed it
we are pretty less in number and most of us have donot care attitude
I hope ur effort do good
Liberal government still thinking/talking for legislation. nothing happened concrete on ground

But some 2016 applicants have already had their DM. I think for them it was taking 6 months or less.

Has it gone up again to 10 to 19 months? That is such a disaster if that's the case.

i have applied on june 1st and i got an email on July 28th saying that i missed to send my candian p.p copy.. I mailed it right away. I checked online status... it says sponsorship application in process and permanent resident for my spouse: "we have received application on june 2nd 2016 and medical received.. I don't know if its sponsorship approval.. any idea??
