Got SA mail finally :) :). Got it through post mail today, as I never received any email. Application received 11 May 2016, SA date 07 July 2016.
 
Found following information on CIC website: ( paper link application to account online)

Why are there differences between the status I see in the Check application status tool (CAS) and in my account?
Your online statuses may be different depending on which tool you use because:

your online account:
provides status for each step needed to process your application and
is updated in real-time.
the Check application status tool:
provides a general status and
is updated on Tuesdays only.
Your online account provides the most accurate status for your application.


i guess it will not be equivalent to GCMS notes but will have more info than ECas

hello guys,

well i have applied for my husband first time in 2014 march and got my interview call in october 2015. Case was rejected as I am a PR and was residing in India after application. they made notes in gcms notes that marriage genuinity proved and reason for refusal is as spouse is not resding in canada.

I then moved back to canada and again reapplied on march 3rd,2016. I got the AOR1 and sponsor eligibilty letter and my file has been transferred to delhi office.

in ecas it is showing

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on March 3, 2016.
We started processing your application on May 9, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

It has been 2 months till this update. Can you tell me how much time will it take more as marriage genuinity is proved and i am staying in canada now only.

also what do we mean by OVS sub category in gcms notes.

We have sent courier as well as email also.
I am in India. I have sent it by courier to following address.
New Delhi Visa Office
High Commission of Canada
7/8 Shantipath, Chankyapuri, New Delhi 110021
India
My husband is in Canada he has sent email from my email address.

Sad to inform you that my wife trv got refused today reason io not convinced that she will leave canada at the end of the proposed stay.applied online on jun 16 refused on july 15.vo bangalore. Now the only hope is pr but dont know how long to wait.ty

I was confuse coz its written mail but not specified E-mail or Postal Mail.
so if i link my account there will be no communication through E-mail or Postal mail.
so i link my account even my agent will not get any updates via mail coz uptill now my agent got all the updates via E-mail.
