I have also not received Medical received line yet, I applied for my husband on April 25, 2016 and received AOR2 on June 16, 2016 and my Ecas just have two lines as below under PA side:

1. We have received your application on April 25, 2016
2. we have started processing your application on June 15, 2016

His medicals were done on Feb 9, 2016. I am super worried what are these people doing with our application. To reduce 2015 backlog they have completely stopped the 2016 files which is not going to help them reduce the backlog because by the time they will come to 2016 they will have lots of files to process. Not effective way of reducing the backlog they have to work simultaneously on both years to reduce the backlog.

But medical updated
So thats not the reason
But i agreee with your opinion on backlog

I am asking from Sponsor side. What are the different lines I will see while checking the details using UCI and Sponsor details? Anyone has any idea?

Usually the sponsor side dont get updated than two lines

THe passport copies which i sent earlier with the file did not had my wife's name on it and even the address on it was old, so i got a new passport issued with the updated address and with my wife's name on it... How and when can i update the new passport copy ?

Send a cse to bdvo
With scanned copy of your pp
Mention about the address change too
Wait to see the updated address on cas

I am able to see application received, started processing on ' ', .. what's next??

Applicant side still says application received.

I am a March 23 2016 applicant. I don't have the medical received line either for my wife. Her medical expires next year.

Bro wait until they physically opens your file for processing
Rt now ndvo is just updating what they have in file from cpc m....so no worries

I am in the same situation too.

There is no Medical recieved line.

Hi Folks I had a question regarding application status.

After you send in the application how do you go about checking the status ? I went to the CIC website and their portal for checking status but I do not have a Client ID/UCI, I only have the receipt number RXXXXXXXXX and I punch that in but don't get a status update. Whose last name should I be putting in when checking status ? Mine (sponsor) or wife's ?

Last week his lawyer received a letter (or e-mail) to submit more photos, I just had a talk with him today.
