The PR application is very important to you and you can show that by visiting the MP's office personally (not by just sending an email). Moreover, you have very less time. Most of the MPs take couple of weeks to respond, the time which you don't have. If you want to get it done fast, I'd suggest your wife should take an appointment and visit the MP's office on Monday. She might need to push the MP to act faster on your issue otherwise your it might be one pending in the long queue of items they are working on.
Totally agree with you Vikram. But unfortunately she won't be able to visit anytime soon and I just sent the email as a last resort. Then I realized we don't have the time to wait anymore for this. As it's already weekend nothing is going to happen for the next 2 or 3 days for sure. So I ended up changing my tickets to fly on coming Wednesday. Will submit my passport at Bangalore VFS. Do I need to take an appointment or fill any application forms for passport submission at VFS? Or just walk in with the passport, photos and copy of passport request letter?
