That's good. But personally speaking, I don't think sending an email to MP is a good approach. The PR application is very important to you and you can show that by visiting the MP's office personally (not by just sending an email). Moreover, you have very less time. Most of the MPs take couple of weeks to respond, the time which you don't have. If you want to get it done fast, I'd suggest your wife should take an appointment and visit the MP's office on Monday. She might need to push the MP to act faster on your issue otherwise your it might be one pending in the long queue of items they are working on.

Totally agree with you Vikram. But unfortunately she won't be able to visit anytime soon and I just sent the email as a last resort. Then I realized we don't have the time to wait anymore for this. As it's already weekend nothing is going to happen for the next 2 or 3 days for sure. So I ended up changing my tickets to fly on coming Wednesday. Will submit my passport at Bangalore VFS. Do I need to take an appointment or fill any application forms for passport submission at VFS? Or just walk in with the passport, photos and copy of passport request letter?

Nothing exciting hasn't happened for a lot of people. It seems they have put a pause on the 2016 applicants for now.

No, you don't need an appointment with VFS. Just walk in with the documents.
Good luck

I applied to your original post before you even made copies of it. Please do not post the same exact question in multiple threads. It's considered rude and spam. If your goal is to get as many different replies as possible, please make your own thread.

Hi, if you look at 2016 ndvo ( new delhi visa office) spreadsheet, there are many ppl from jan feb and few from march ( including vikram) who were lucky to get DM or ppr or even visas by now.
NDVO was raining DM's for 2016 applicants, which gave us all some hope. But since 12th may not much ve been heard for 2016 applications regarding DM's.

Hope this helps

I know that doesn't seem promising and i can't rationalize it the better way;working on 2014 and 2015 application to reduce block logs or cic called back the extra IO being hired recently or background and criminality check batches taking long to come back!

I hope your questions are very well answered already. Next time before asking me such a question, do your homework.

technically that sort of surprise from (cic ndvo) looks like a birthday gift, that's why I was curious to know whether they really granted the family class visa within 3 months. Anyways thanks. ;D
