Any updates for folks who are waiting for PPR after DM?
Jan applicant, was hoping to get DM as other 2016 applicants..

Seemed like there was a wave of heightened activity at NDVO and it's pretty quiet now. ]

*Fingers crossed. Hoping for best for all.

It took 4 days for passport to be ready to be picked.

Visa is the Immigrant visa stamped on your passport. That will allow your entry to Canada.
COPR is the confirmation of the PR status. This is an A4 size paper mentioning the details of the PA and the sponsor. There are two copies of the COPR, one with photo and one without. The one with photo will be submitted when you land and the other one will be signed, stamped and dated and returned. You must keep this copy safe. You’ll need it for applying for SIN, health insurance, driver’s license, etc. till your PR card arrives. After the PR card arrives, you will need the COPR in case you lose the card and have to apply again or for applying for citizenship later.

Thank you once again!!!
My husband just picked up his passport this morning ;D
Visa is valid till September this year (one year from the upfront med).

I was gonna visit him and his family in July and August anyways so we'll fly back to Canada together as a family (finally!!!!).

Best of luck to everyone!!!

Hi Officer,

Can we add a new column to the spreadsheet that indicates Destination Location in Canada. It may be helpful!!!

Congratulations!!
No, it is not necessary to land in Toronto. You can land at any international airport whichever is your first port of entry in Canada.
