I have been a silent follower of this forum for a while now, thought I should update you guys on my case. Application received by CIC on Jan 18 2016 (yes 2016!!), transferred to NDVO in early March 2016, got decision made today (May 6 2016)!!! I guess now is just waiting for PPR and stamped visa

We started processing your application on March 21, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

When I clicked my wife's name the status next to it said "decision made". Just wondering if this is positive sign

You are an april 20th applicant rt? How come u are saying jan 2016 dm?

Are you the principal applicant or your wife? Its not clear to me that whose side changed to DM, the sponsor side or the principal applicant side?

Ok so I am the Canadian born and I'm sponsoring my wife from India so next to her name on thr CIC website (where you check application status) it said "decision made" but when I clicked it all I saw was what I copy+pasted. What do you think?

Its definitely good news. Your wife must be receiving PPR in a few days. Congrats.

So, my wife got DM today (May 5,2016). But the passport is already with NDVO since we also got approved for visitors visa
Now I am confused how we will get Passport Request for PR and also get visitors visa stamped on it! ??? :

Congrats on the DM.
Your wife's passport should be back in a week's time. When did your wife submit her passport? Give a call to VFS and check when can you expect the passport back.
PPR will take a couple of days, so I think you should be able to submit it after you receive it back.

Just a random thought if you want to give it a try, you can email NDVO that your wife's status has changed to DM and they have the passport for TRV, can they stamp it for PR and send it with CoPR.

Great news !! Many congrats !! I guess they will issue you only PR visa, In case they already issued you visitor visa, that will be cancelled when they issue you PR visa

I am in same situation, my wife TRV was approved and then she received the call from NDVO and they said your spousal visa has been approved too, which visa you want.....My wife said spousal visa and they said you will get back your passport with spousal visa in 2-3 days....waiting now !!
