Got decision made on both side in Ecas.. I am May 26th applicant. It never went to background check though. Is it normal?

Same here it's really frustrating. 9 June applicant . I just sent a mail for my processing time and they replied that your application is reviewing by visa officer and ndvo processing time is 12 months.

10 June applicant. Still waiting. no updates

Please help me.
I am in such a situation that the MP added insult to my injury. In my request to inquire with the visa office, New Delhi regarding the latest status of my case and urging them to expedite it, if possible, her Secretary made me disappointed by sending an email claiming that 'it takes 14 months' to complete a case and my case is within the normal processing period that is why she can do nothing. In telephonic conversation, she told me that it takes 16 months, and I tried to assure her that the official website mentions 12 months only. She insisted on and said, 'No, no..it's 16 months...' Now, in writing she has mentioned it takes 14 months. Is it what the secretary is supposed to do?? Or, does it take 14 months to complete a case? My point, here, is even if she can do nothing to me, she at least should be updated with the basic information related to immigration. On Wednesday, she told me that she had not even forwarded my note due to busy schedule but on Thursday she told me that she inquired with the visa office and they informed her that it takes '14 months' for a case to get completed. Is it what I should believe? I am not happy with her attitude. Can't I complain her? If yes, where and how?? Please let me know.

Please don't be disheartened. Sometimes a little bit of power and importance given to idiots get to their brains. I agree with you, basic information must be provided to such people who cant even phantom the idea of living away from their families and expect us to digest their stupidity. Hang in there friend. Complaining about him/her to the MP won't make any thing better. The best thing you can do is stay positive, pray...............God bless you

Hi dear aplicant I am worried nw over 1 week gone no any mail or status updates . My interview was done 20th January. Give me advice plz . Visa officer told me I want review ur case that's wy right time no any desicion make . What can I do now I think my case refused.but my interview was gd . God plz help thx

Please don't assume stuff and make your self miserable. They are just lazy. You will get your decision soon and when you feel good about the interview then dont let your brain wander like this.

My husband had an interview scheduled for Feb 1st, 2017. He got a call today from the visa officer who said that his application got approved and interview has been cancelled. He also got an email for passport request.

Guys as I have mentioned before, my wife is currently pregnant 6 months and has interview on Fe 10 2017. i was wondering how can i send NDVO them the doctor reports before appearing for interview. Help plesae

if you are going to the recommended doctors in your area then the doctors will automatically send her medical info to the NDVO

Today i received this email from CIC, Delhi. But we don't live in India anymore.. shall I send them by courier or I have to go personally to India?

In order for our office to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents to be sent to our office within 60 days from the receipt of this letter:

1. An updated application kit which must include the following:

a. IMM 0008 - Application for Permanent Residence for yourself;

3. A new Medical Examination as per the instructions on our website. If the medical report form (IMM1017) is not included in this letter, it will be sent to you in an email shortly. Please note that it is possible to complete an upfront medical examination. For more information visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp.

4. Updated Police Certificates from all of the countries you have resided in for 6 months or more since you turned the age of 18 years old. Dependants aged 18 years old and over are also required to submit police certificates.

5. You can pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee online by visiting: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en. Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.

Please mail them the documents from your country and let it takes it course. Since your Indian (i am only assuming) then your file will be dealt in New Delhi. At the time of the PPR you can request them to change the country for stamping or use VFS for mailing in your PP

Oh yes, definitely. You can do it anytime, just make sure you google up the border which you plan to go so that you are aware of the delay times.
