I have a question on behalf of someone else..he is march applicant, done his interview on first week of dec..VO said dat he is satisfied but they didn't ask for his passport. ..
SO THIS IS NORMAL DAT THEY DIDN'T KEEP UR PASSPORT AFTER UR INTERVIEW. .IS THIS A GOOD SIGN OR NOT??

But the medicals expire on 14th January. Can NDVO send remedicals after Decision made?? or they ll just give visa til 14th Jan..

Hello, we got PPR on 29 th nov, submitted for stamping via vfs, Ahmedabad office. Still have not received the passport back. Just curious, we did have name change as the passport was renewed just 2 days before we got passport request. Now I do see the name change reflecting in online status since Monday, however we have not received our passport with visa yet. a bit worried as, I have booked ticket for my wife on 22nd dec.

I don't think making any changes to the passport is advised, especially at a time when PPR was just around the corner. Hopefully you get the passport back really soon.

Yes, however my wife's passport was due to expire in few months so we had to get it renewed, in India when you renew passport after marriage, they automatically add husband's name. Alteast in online status, it does reflect new name since this week and still decision made, until last week it was mentioning old name.

So they added your name in the spousal name section, but didn't changer her last name right? Cuz changing her last name would have to be initiated by you, the PPO in India won't do it without a written request from the you.

We received an email yesterday from NDVO asking for original PCC by 25 Jan 2017. We've already sent them one copy before. Like we get two copies of PCC and we sent one along with our complete packet in May. They had sent an automatic email when we received AOR2 which we ignored like everybody inthe forum said. But we have received another email requesting ORIGNAL PCC.
Now my ques is, do we always have to send both the copies of PCC? Bcz we sent one and I kept one with me.
Second ques, I got my surname changed on my passport, so do they require a new updated PPC for that??
Third ques, How do send the PCC like mail them in an envelope stating my file numbe on the envelope?
Please ans ..its urgent.

Courier the original PCC to NDVO with your file number and name on the envelop, in addition email and CSE them a copy letting them know that you have couriered to the original to them . It's likely that because you changed your surname a new PCC is requested that matches that of your passport. You will need to get a new PCC with the name now mentioned on your passport.

Even I think the same that I should send the new one. But my husband asked me to send the one I have with old passport number and apply for a new one. I am confused now and he's asleep.

Hey is your aor2 as 2nd aug.

We are 25th may applicants with same status in gc key. Hope back ground check starts within this month itself.

Keep us posted if u notice any movement in background check.

May 6th applicant is waiting too bro

I could be wrong but seems like may applicants who recieved AOr2 in august havent had any background checks but those in july are getting PPR's . they must only be working on july yet . Like i said I could be wrong
