I don't know, I THOUGHT our case would be straight forward. Hubby he RUNS an NGO (non governmental organization which helps people) he has several international awards. I have served Canada for 20 years in the Navy with a security clearance. Neither one of us married before, age difference is in the *magic* gap (3 years difference). But all stages we are lagging everyone (on here anyway). I am last from January I think, and even maybe February. It took 10 months to even get BG in process while many others got 3-6 months, and now the BG in process that has been a full month while it seems everyone else who went BG in process on here had PPR / DM by about 2 weeks tops (and many cases only a few days). All the MP told me was maybe our file is on a desk of an officer who does have some complicated time consuming cases and because of those ours got pushed back. But if that happens that officer should transfer files which are clearly now behind most others. I am so frustrated. If he doesn't get to come by end Dec, then I hope we don't get PPR / DM until MArch so that it won't affect me going to India in March (I am going for 6 months work experience and can't change it) If he comes here and doesn't have the PR card by the time I have to go either he has to stay alone in Canada while I stay alone in India (until he gets the card and comes to India to meet me) or we fly back to India without his PR card, and have a family member here in Canada courier it to him in India --- but I am so worried what happens if the card gets lost in transit by courier? Is there some way to get a replacement from New Delhi Visa Office?
