Bro, i know it's very difficult. and once in a while it's okay, but when you see posts after posts written in a negative tone....
anyways, my last post on this topic.

The thing is CIC own procedures are not being followed. Applications are supposed to be worked in order received. Understandable delays for red flags, interview needed, extra documents requested etc. But with no red flags, no missing documents, no interview required etc. it is unethical practice to leave that application while working on newer ones. If people were queued at a business and newer customers were served before ones that had been waiting a long time without any issues that would delay service this is unethical. It's negative sounding because well it is negative!!! It needs to be addressed. If nobody ever questions anything nothing will change!

Case in point someone got PPR in 3 months without any special case like medical emergency etc. And others waiting over a year with no red flags at all so the two files should have similar processing times! Not a difference of 9 or more months for no reason! So you can see why people get frustrated!

Hey guys congrates to all for good news.

May 10th Applicant - checked yesterday but shows review of eligibility in process.

Guys the good thing is they have started may applications so may be plus minus couple of days or weeks.

Hopefully soonner for everyone on this forum.

Okay guys... May application here , Background check went in progress either today or yesterday

But there is a problem, medical expires in January and we can't travel in January. Has anyone tried requesting to have the visa expire on a later date.

If we do complete re-medical in the next few days (Holiday where spouse is right now) will it work? does the visa office look at the new medical?

Today I got an email from CIC about the PR card reminder too.. Just wondering is it to do something with our spousal file, as the guy you commented the post had filed the application on 28-04-2016. You filed on 11-05-2016 and I filed on 26-05-2016. Just trying to figure out the pattern of this email. Does it mean our file is being worked upon? Anybody else got this type of email? Please share..

Dude it has nothing to do with spousal file. Its just immigration rule changes.

its just notice to all PR Holders to get Cards renewed or apply for PRTP if you are out of country and card is expired. thats wat it is. its got nothing to do with your spousal file

I cant link my wife's file to my gc key account. i have tried using my info and my wife but still system cant search it.
a user here made suggestion here that I tried but it still didnt work.

Hey everyone My wife lives in Canada and we got married in feb 2016 and then after gathering all the docs, she finally submitted the application in canada on 3rd of may 2016. and after everything done the file came to Delhi immigration on 6th of july 2016.
Does anyone have any idea how long will it take more as if i check it online it keep saying its in Process. And how will they contact me? and what are the next moves?
Btw i have already submitted medical and everything.
