January 15 applicant here (well I'm the sponsor). I just got the GCMS noes I requested last month and every single heading says 'not started' on my husband's application. In fact nothing was done at all since his application arrived to NDVO in March. Nada. ZIP. So it's frustrating seeing all these people on here getting DM and PPR who applied even 3-4 months after we did. It's not a red flag on my husbands file, nothing missing for documentation, they just have not even loooked at it since they got it!

I contacted the MP today and he said all they can do is an inquiry. They can't influence anything to get it opened. Not sure what else to do.

I think Application Received date and AOR1 is different. What matters is the first line on your ECAS.
"We received your application for permanent residence on **********. "

They stamp that date on your file and process based on that.

Yes, first line on your ECAS matters and thats what is AOR1 i.e., Acknowledgement of Receipt. Please correct if I'm wrong.

I am not sure if it works. In my case, I did write to PM and an enquiry was sent to the Immigration Department.
I got an eMail from Immigration Team also where they said the file was in queue. I am not sure if this really worked.

Hi friends please help me how can I apply gcms notes apply I am november 2015 applicant . My medical was expired in September 2016 .no remedcal request until nw please advise me thx

Hi,

You can apply for atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca .do only if you or someone you know is a CANADIAN Citizen.
Or you can go to CIC.GC.CA and search for GCMS. It will take you to the right page.

Is cic site down..how r u people checking ur status as I m not able to open site...

CIC web was down due to affect from USA election results.
XXX,XXX number of applications submitted online for PR from USA to CAN, which resulted in CIC going down..
You can figure out who are those. 8)

Did the Mp do the inquiry? What was the outcome?

Two of my friends who applied in Jan 2016 Got PPR today.
He didn't do any MP enquiry.
Looks like NDVO is clearing the old files from 2016.
