Visiting your spouse has a positive impact on your spousal sponsorship, so being absent from Canada for the purpose of visiting spouse will get you extra point towards sponsorship but quitting a job has an effect towards your financial, not sponsorship if it is already filed...

so what would be a short term visit and a long term ??007JB said:any short term visits being a PR is always fine during the process.. long term visits aren't recommended. sponsor has to stay in Canada during the process. hope it helps!
