Please sign the form scan it and send to ur husband.
Ask ur husband to sign it, scan it than upload it to ATIP

I had visited London for 15 days for Training purpose from my Job. I hav included my job letter and Overseas Visit reason letter along with my application.

Will the Overseas history like this can prolong my Background check??

Hi-I don't think that will be an issue at all. It is only prolonged when you have stayed in another country for more than 6 months. I didn't think visiting history has anything to do with it if it less than 6 months.

October 5th applicant, background check in process since 26 April. No updates after. However I emaild NDVO, they replied back saying some background checks are processed by outside agencies. Hopefully by July I hear something good.

Ive heard they don't respond to emails or calls. Which email id did you email to? What did u write? I ordered notes i see my eligibility is passed BGC started and its been 4 months now but no update

Today I received a letter from NDVO asking for my husbands police clearance but we had already sent the original copy to them with our application but I still did send them scanned copies through email. The surprising part is the error on the letter the letter was dated for May 16 that's when it's sent out and they said they need to receive it by May 12,2017. This gave me some hope.. even though it's not a decision made at least I know they are working on my file. Anyone had similar situation can tell me how much longer after sending the police clearance they may take for decision made ?

On my notes i see that there was a request for PC but then they cancelled it. And i didn't receive any email either. But i still sent them the copys i had i just scanned and emailed it to them. The original one was sent with the application. Hopefully we will hear something good soon.

is there anyone who was asked to send additional docs thru email and after sending their file moved? when asked to send thru email if any of u send hard copies too?

I was asked to submit my childs birth certificate thru email which i did. After a month i got another additional doc request this time they didn't mention to email or post. So i did both. On my notes it shows all requested docs received.but no update since then. That was February 28

We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.


For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.
