dont be hopeful to receive a good response even if you call them. the standard answer is 'processing time is 6 months'.

All we need is more patience! May be we all meet if local to Toronto, have few drinks and *censored word* about immigration process! that should bring some relief! 8)

My wifes application went to decision made but just wondering how long it takes to receive the passport and if its approved or denied

its july 1st my wife dint get any acknowledgment letter just curious.

I believe I applied around the same time as you, on june 29th last update on my wife's file in India was Medical received. Nothing since then. Quite worried here. Plus wife is frustrated too. Everyone else I speak to says, there wife was in canada with in 3-4 months.

We received ABC's application for permanent residence on May 18, 2011.

We started processing ABC's application on June 29, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Hey SSA, we applied a day after you and we havent recieved any updates either. In fact, we havent we even recieved the Medicals Recieved update either. So just hang in there and be patient. Every case is different and it depends on luck quite a lot too. So dont compare your cases with others. It is a difficult time for all of us. Just hang in there and keep praying
