my interview was on 20 oct 2016
at the end of interview she said she is not taking decision right now
but after that she asked me to submit my new PCC and NEW MEDICAL

on the next day of interview i got new remedical request in my gckey account

then we sent acknowledgement letter that we already submited our medical at the time of interview
if we still need to do remedical please let us know
but still we not received any reply

on 26 oct my background status changed to in progress

after that no update

medical is still in progress


please help us to know what is going on with our file
and
what we have to do now ?

Hello there. I wouldn't worry about anything now. Once you re-medical and background clearance passes, they will request for your passport to issue the landing visa. They wouldn't have followed the up with the medical and background, if your interview didn't pass. I went with my wife for her interview on 13th Oct. We passed the interview and was followed up with the re-medical and background search. The medical cleared and is in the final stage of BG.

Hello Friends, I am following this forum recently and I believe this forum is of great help to everyone. I am filling the sponsor forms and I have a couple of questions. Any help is much appreciated.

IMM5540E (Sponsor Questionnaire)- Question 9 says -Are you a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident -
1. On what date - Is this the Landing date which is the Date given on the PR card ?
2. which Canadian Visa office issued your immigrant visa - I have Landed in Toronto - So should I put New Delhi(who has given the Visa) or Toronto (Confirmed once Landed).

Document Checklist:

Point 19: I had worked only for 3 months in 2015 and my salary is around CAD 16000 Gross and I am an employee from then ....
Do I have to select any of the options from point 19 as I am sponsoring my spouse. If so,
I have to Select only the option (a): Evidence of employment income ...

I have a question. When sending picture for TRV, according to instructions the max. size of the face in the picture should be 36 mm. but my picture has 38 mm so is it acceptable or will I have to get the picture developed again? Thanks

paste the pictures on MSword doc and then convert into pdf and send.

Answer to your question 1 is your landing date which will be on your landing document the day you landed in Canada
2)They are looking for a visa office that issued your PR(Office where you send your PR application) so if you applied in delhi then delhi visa office.
