Hi Rose,

I believe this is possible, just check the local MP of your area in Canada, drop him/her an email.
They should email you a consent form, which u can fill-scan and send back.

After this MP is good to go.

lot of people are talking about gathering proof of money transfer to your spouse so one can establish genuinity of relationship.

my wife is sponsoring me. we both manage our own finances and don't do any money transfer. is it a good scenario to be that way???

my interview was on 20 oct 2016
at the end of interview she said she is not taking decision right now
but after that she asked me to submit my new PCC and NEW MEDICAL

on the next day of interview i got new remedical request in my gckey account

then we sent acknowledgement letter that we already submited our medical at the time of interview
if we still need to do remedical please let us know
but still we not received any reply

on 26 oct my background status changed to in progress

after that no update

medical is still in progress


please help us to know what is going on with our file
and
what we have to do now ?

Hello Everyone!

Need your help to apply online for TRV for my wife.
we applied paper application in October and it got rejected.
planning to reapply online application this time.
we got married in march this year and applied for spouse PR in august in which we already approved for first stage(SA).
Now about TRV online application what supporting document i should provide?
My wife has no work history and she never travelled outside India.
My wife doesn't have any property or anything like that on her name.
So I am not really sure what other documents i can provide for her application.
Anybody in the same situation and got approved for TRV?
Really really need your help!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ray,

Firstly its a very good sign that both partners are financially independent.
That being said, providing financial support does not show the genuinity of the relationship. However, if both partners share some common expense, may be house loan or internet expense or something basic that might help in proving something.

But again this is not compulsion, to prove that relationship is genuine, as applicants please concentrate on sending pictures and if you have already applied, try knowning your partner and their family. If you hv any common travel history share that. Knowing your partner and their family now, would only help if at all it comes down to interview.

My application is in BG checks too. I dont believe there is much left for us to do now.
All we need to do is continue what we have been doing for past 1 year, that is have patience things are getting towards a closer

You need to contact your MP and ask him the proper way to let NDVO know about it. You can't directly contact NDVO.

My friend is working in MP office here. I asked her and she is helping me to proceed.

This is not at all mandate requirement, yes its always good to show as much as proof you can show to them.
