U mistakenly wrote 2016 in ur profile. No I don't think remedical can be done without request.

I am April 2, 2015 applicant, still waiting for re-med or decision. I had linked my file to cic account last month and today all of a sudden I got a message on that account. There was a pdf letter (IMM 1017) for remedical request attached in that message. However I have not got any email from delhi embassy regarding any re-med. It was only in that message in cic account.
I need to ask should I still go for re-med even if i haven't got any email from delhi embassy or should i wait?
also what is the fee for full medical?

Yes, that is your remedical request. it costs around rs.4000.

M also april 2015 applicant... go for remed as soon as possible... fee is Rs 4600 around... can u tell me in ur acc background chek is in progress or nt started

In the mail its written that "When you schedule your appointment, please ensure that arrangements are made for your chest x-ray and laboratory tests as well. ". Does that mean do I have to do other test plus xray and laboratory or I just need to do xray and laboratory only?

also i need to ask one more thing. What do I need to do after my re-med is done?
Do I have to email NDVO the copy of its receipt as a proof? or anything?

Yes, its the complete test. Means both Chest X-ray and Laboratory test. Laboratory tests is nothing but all tests excluding Chest X-ray.
 
Thank you guys for the kind reply. Can I expect an interview or remedical request means everything except medical is ok to approve my PR?

Yes u need to mail scanned copies of receipts to them

Did MP inquiry yesterday and got the response today.
Sept 2015 applicant. Nothing has started. It was same standard response that they received from NDVO saying that we are reviewing applicant eligibility. Medicals have expired and we will contact your constituent's Applicant with further instructions in due time.

Would it make sense to order notes or should I wait for some activity to happen in my GCkey account?
