that will be 99% refusal.....for a girl they might still consider......depends on how long he is not working....if he can still show latest salary slips and ITRs then you can mention that he quit his job to settle in Canada that might work.

I dont want to demotivate you but , It will be very difficult to get TRV without any job in India ,job is considered as a strong tie & reason to return back to home country .....Your application is on final stage and it's just a matter of time ,your husband will join you soon in Canada .This hard time will also pass by .
Waheguru ji will bless all .

Thats why i ws cnfused in case of wasimkaulas

Please do not misguide, mine background and security check have not started yet. Re medicals are done by the separate department when it expires ( According to CIC email).

It's very rare of rarest cases when applicant has to face interview after remedical ,that happens when NDVO finds something adverse in background and security checks ......
Remedical means ELIGIBILITY is passed which is the back bone of your application .....

Remedical is sent by VO after eligibility is passed ,might in final review they screwed you ......Other department can't send remedical request without the VO's discretion. There are lots of applicants waiting who have not even received remedicals.
This is very disappointing without knowing the reason people start blaming others.

Usually the trend is that after remedicals - you wouldn't be required an interview but then I believe some people did receive telephone interview calls after remedical so really we are speculating on the process of VO on both ends based on past trends.

I really dont think anyone in here knows exactlly the inner workings of the VO department other than the standard procedures and past trends. All I am saying is that no one knows for sure what the "exact process" is unless you have been an employee. Suggestions are given here based on what we believe has been happening. I think both opinions are valid and have best intentions to help.

Hi all,

My wife received the passport back with shiny visa today. The whole process took just over 1 year. It is one of the happiest days of my life. Past 12 months were the longest 12 months of my life. They were filled with stress, anxiousness, anger, eagerness and excitement. I was disappointed with NDVO when they abruptly started processing 2016 files but I have to concede that they processed the file swiftly after remedical to issue visa.

I would like to thank all members for their valuable input throughout my journey on this forum. It made the painful wait shorter. I sincerely wish that everybody gets their visa soon and get reunited with their life partners.

Hi guys I'm a July 10th applicant also...meds expired in June.

Haven't had any communication since AOR in Sept. Getting worried now...have they lost some files?? Very straightforward case, first marriages, dated for 2 years, sponsor is citizen. Getting paranoid that we missed their phone call or they lost our email addresses. Applied for notes but let's see when those come. Anyone in a similar boat?

Btw Nabaaf congrats to u....this whole year I've been reading the blog and u have given so much advice and positive vibes to ppl who've been going thru this crazy process. Thanks for being such a support system and pls continue to help us still going thru this :)

I think the embassy is making excuses that they never received our remedical due to unprofessional work strategies they are just trying to cover it with silly excuses
