Hi, You can find your area's mp and call their office if they can help you enquire your spouse sponsorship case. Then you can ask for the appointment. I searched for my area's MP and called their office. Mostly they wont give appointment, they will ask you to come anytime between their office hours.

hi guys,
I went to MP office today. They called NDVO and asked about the status of my application. The response was: nothing started on my file yet . Then i asked about 2016 candidates getting dm/ppr. They said its impossible, average time is 19 months. No one can get their visa in 4-5 months. They asked me not to believe in such people and I can expect to hear from NDVO in a couple of months. Then i expressed my concern about the expiry of medical. NDVO responded by saying that if the medical seems good, they can extend its validity for another month. I dont know why (maybe i want to cling to positive things) ....but i believe when the NDVO said, I can expect to hear from them in a couple of months . Means 2 months.....not bad. I can wait that long to reunite with my husband. I hope it helps all June applicants.

I am from Edmonton too. Not sure whereabouts you live in Edmonton but try to go to an MP who belongs to the Liberal Party, I have found that to be more helpful than going to any party MP. I have personally gone to Amarjeet Sohi and he has helped in the past with visitor visa etc. Hoping he can provide more info or help with this sponsorship case as well. I am going to see his office case worker today. Hoping for the best and will keep everyone posted!

I am still hoping to see the PPR email anytime this week as it has been 7 days from when status changed to DM

Thanks for the details. I have checked list of MP's in Edmonton.Amarjeet Sohi office in Mill woods is close to my husband's place.
So my husband is planning to visit Mill woods office lets see and all the best to you

Btw, JUNE 9 applicant on our WhatsApp group received Re-medical today.

So all JUNE applicants, just have patience, your turn is coming this month and probably next month.

Got DM today ..but no email from NDVO. Also, when i click on DM , shows the same 3 points as before.. WHAT DOES IT MEAN..? when'll I get PPR.?

A lot of Jan and Feb 2016 applicants have got DM in the past 2-3 days, including me. A few of them got DMs last week and got PPR within 4-5 days. So just hold your horses tight and wait for the PPR email anytime in the Principal applicant's inbox

I agree with you. Due to these fake stories, we are stressing ourselves. In my friend circle, the first week May applicant got ppr, my other friends who applied in july/august are still waiting. So, lets just wait for our turn. Since NDVO is already working on May 2015 applicants, June/July is not far.

I don't know why you think that applicants from Jan/Feb 2016 who got "DM" are planting fake stories. I am a Feb 2016 applicant , and yes my status changed from "In process" to "DM" some time between May 6-8 (I don't check regularly) . So it is real , and please deal with it . I understand your pain , I know it is not fair but the stories are not fake .

Lets be kind and not post 2016 updates here. Its causing unnecessary stress on the 2015 applicant. Please post it on 2016 thread.

Haha I applied for my own PR under FSWP in 2014 when I was single, landed, then got married back in India last year and now my wife's PR is under process.
