Anyone from november received ppr?has anyone have any idea when they are going to send ppr requests?because its been 7 days since Got dm.

Harvandjas doesn't know when he got DM because he doesn't have access to ECAS (it doesn't work).

Yea, lots of people are still waiting for PPR after DM. So just have patience, it will come

hi guys,
I went to MP office today. They called NDVO and asked about the status of my application. The response was: nothing started on my file yet . Then i asked about 2016 candidates getting dm/ppr. They said its impossible, average time is 19 months. No one can get their visa in 4-5 months. They asked me not to believe in such people and I can expect to hear from NDVO in a couple of months. Then i expressed my concern about the expiry of medical. NDVO responded by saying that if the medical seems good, they can extend its validity for another month. I dont know why (maybe i want to cling to positive things) ....but i believe when the NDVO said, I can expect to hear from them in a couple of months . Means 2 months.....not bad. I can wait that long to reunite with my husband. I hope it helps all June applicants.

How did they call in front of you?? what time of the day did you go to MP office... because it is night in India when day in Canada and the embassy would be closed..

congratulations did you ecas start working ? can u tell what time did you get your email? just wondering if they work during night time in india? because that when you posted.

Yes, i was wondering same thing when she asked me to wait for 5 min as she will call nvdo infront of me. Initially ph was on waiting and she told me many ppl are enquiring at this time, so we have to wait. After waiting another 5 min they picked the call. According to me, they assign someone according to canadian time to handle such enquiries. Its not like that they talk to the visa officer. I think there is someone else designated to take calls..... Similar to customer service. So the person on other end might be putting our details into their computer system and tell whatever they see on the screen. I went to MP office in morning.

I am guessing it must be the Ottawa office. I have heard that MPs call the Ottawa office who can check in the system.

No his ECAS is still not working.
And NDVO does not work at night, however the automated system does and that's why people can receive updates after the closing of office. Such as people receive DM on ECAS on Saturday/Sundays too.

hmmm so do they put it as sort of reminder? i am not sure i fully understand how that would work. do you mind explaining your viewpoint ? i am just curious. Thanks
