Hi

Did you submitted any additional documents to Ndvo without their request ??

Yes, My husband's passport expired after we applied.Hence we emailed his renewed passport copy via email.

Initially we were not supposed to send as I am principal applicant and his renewed passport copy would be considered much.
But later we thought it is better to inform them.Hence we emailed his renewed passport copy via email.

Please advise does that delay our process or any impact??

Well I'm not cent percent sure but according to the previous members and their posts ,sending additional docs without their request may delay the processing of your application.

I read a post where one December 2014 applicant sent additional documents to NDVO (photographs ,call history ,boarding passes) of his recent visit to India and his application was delayed for good three months ,he ordered notes nothing was started when the following applicants (December 2014)were getting updates.
However he got remedical request in April 2015 and got PPR in 2 weeks. He later posted that he had no red flags and think the additional docs delayed the process for him .

Experts can give their views ,Rambopg .

Any november applicants waiting for passport request?

whats your status on ECAS ?
did you get PPR right after ?

on my sponsorship approval it still "In Process" but the permanent application shows "Decision Made" since last week

haven't received any Email so far from CIC to submit passport

can anyone explain ?

This is so strange hearing people not getting PPR after DM, i thought they send it out after couple of days.

My wife's application status changed to DM mostly yesterday but still no PPR, hopefully dont have to wait long as tomorrow will be one year anniversary of the application!!!!!

Submitted additional document request today hoping to hear something soon.

hii. i'm 11 may applicant and waiting for remedical request.
Welcome to the forum.....

There are many May applicants waiting for remedical request ,I'm also May 12 , no updates.

Apply for GCMS notes to see what is happening to your file .

I filed a application for spouse visa in Feb 2016 .I want to see if my spouse will get interview or not ?or if his interview waived ? when I should order notes ? his file is already in new Delhi visa office .

Even I am waiting for notes ,it's not about going to Canada ,but why we all anxious is its our life partner who is sitting thousand's of miles away from us ,and we are here and in the time of need and emergency we cant even visit them ......feel so hopeless .......

You should ideally apply notes after 6-7 months (looking at the current processing for later 2015 applications )

1. Did you MP mentioned it was a letter and not email? There is a chance that the letter is lost in the post. How did you receive AOR2, in letter or email? If in letter, was it addressed to Indian address or Canadian address? If it was Canadian address, then the PPR might be taking time in the post. If it was Indian address then you must contact your MP again. Ask him to contact NDVO and request for sending the PPR again since you did not receive the first one.
You yourself should do a case specific inquiry and also send an email to NDVO with the issue. Since it is already more than 15 days that the PPR was sent to you, there is little time left for you to send the passport, failing which, like your MP mentioned, there is a risk that they will close your file.
2. VFS will not accept the passport without PPR letter. You must have the letter to submit your passport.

Thanks for the reply.

Additional info:
1) Email from MP's office mentioned it was letter (not email).
2) My wife never received AOR2 (letter or email).
3) My wife did receive Re-medical and Pre-arrival service info by email.
4) It is an Indian address.
5) I checked the address on CIC's website - it is correct.

My action:
1) I emailed MP's office and they will try to get more info (their turn-arround time is 2 days, where as for case inquiry it is about 1 month - correct me if I am wrong)

Question:
1) What's NDVO's email address? Is it DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca?

Thanks
