Hello everyone
Can u please tell me that how much luggage is allowed? Is there any extra allowance if my wife is coming first time?

Luggage details are mentioned on the airline tickets. better read through fare and baggage terms on the airline ticket. For Canada, normally 2 bags are allowed - 23kg/each. and upto 8kg in hand bag or cabin bag. there are more details if you read on airline website. I'm not sure about extra baggage, probably you have to pay for that to the airline.

Most Indian/North American airlines allow 2 bags of 23 kgs each. Most European airlines (KLM/Lufthansa and Delta .. i know american)... allow 1 bag of 23 kg.

No extra bags for immigrants. Only students get it I belive.

Remedical submitted on 12 March.

Hi Guys: I need help from you guys:

I am May 14, 2015 applicant. My wife received remedical on Apr 10, 2016 (Also in the email they mentioned that it has to be done with 30 days from the date of letter).
But She is currently having chicken pox, so I don’t think she would be able to recover well by May 20 2016. Is there any provision where the medical examination date can be extended for at least 30 days.

Did the Aug and Sep applicants who have Decision Made had upcoming expiries for the medical? Would that be the reason why they were just sent PPR request????

No that's not the case they are just lucky they are getting it early.My wife's medicals expired over a month ago.And nothing yet. And there are a lot of people on forum who all still waiting to hear from NDVO.
 
sonu1234 - Dont take my word for it but I thought the medicals were to check for diseases such as TB etc. Wouldn't it make sense to call the doctor and get guidance accordingly and just go get the medicals done. Why would u want to delay it because of chicken pox?

No need to worry just ask her to go there & do medical

Hi Aman181, I am May 29 applicant as well and still waiting for remedical request :'(. Please let me know if u hear any thing from NDVO.
 
What was our mistake.. only that we applied in the month of May or June.. come on NDVO
This is height of unfairness
