HI can you help me here . my sponsor is a canadian citizen who submitted his application for spouse sponsorship and received at CIC , Mississauga on May 14 2015. A request for some additional documents were made by CIC Mississauga , which were submitted to CIC , Mississauga on August 21st 2015.
SA was received on Sep 9, 2015, and I received the file transfer letter from NDVO on Sep 16 2015. I Have done the medicals on March 2nd 2016.
How do i Calculate 17 moths ... from May 2015 or August 2015 . which month applicants are they currently processing at the NDVO???

u r suppose to calculate From May 2015 according to the new update on CIC website....
When did u receive ur remed request???????before 2nd march??? Or u did by ur ownself without request??? Plz clarify
What additional document request u got????can u kindly gv the detail abt it????

Well a med was requested in the SA letter in received by my spouse on Sep 9 2015 ..I did it on March 2nd 2016, only because i was so busy with our wedding preps . We got married in Dec 2015.
 
well i had to submit proof of how legit our relationship was , how we met etc etc , also an IMM form also that my spouse had to resubmit

When did u receive ur additional document request asking proof fr relationship and also IMM form???

As u r MAy 2015 applicant thats y jus trying to analyse the pattern of ndvo processing....

Got a Passport request for my wife today :)

I suppose it take 1 week to get back passport, if any one can throw some light through there experience.
 
Wait... so let me get this... You submitted application in May 2015, but got married in December 2015?

Finaaaallllllyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Congratzzzzz
One week is the maximum time to receive passport back aftr submission at vfs centre.....u may get back ur passport anywhr in between two days to a week...as they hv recently increased the visa stamping office as mentioned by some member on the forum....

hi have submitted d passport on tuesday in chennai vfs.i recived sms that i will recive my passport tomorrow with visa ;D ;D.The process was very simple it took only two minute.and u can go anywhere arround 9am to 4pm.u dont need to book any apppointment.you just need passport,photocopy of email and other form in which u will specify ur eye colour , height and two passport size photo .plz make sure that the photo u submit with passport is different specification comparing to normal canadian passport size photo.According to me its better to take photo in vfs it self.they charge me 200rs for the pic.The total amount u have to pay is RS 980. Don't forget to add sms service it will be very useful.Hope this information will be helpful for future aplicant :)

well this is what we called WTF.....Got notes....said I am satisfied with all the proofs.....first marriage...age group same..great communication proof of calls and chats...sufficient photos of all wedding events and rituals.....but short interview recommended ....WTF is short interview and why....are they trying to fill any quota ???
