It can be done anytime but usually should be used as a last resort.
google the federal MP for your area in Canada and email/call them to get an appointment.

According to your previous posts, I am going to guess your file must have not cleared background or security checks yet since they recently asked for New Zealand police clearance.

Alternatively you can also order notes (takes 30 days to receive).

It will take 30 days to come! that's y i'm thinking about this.. is this much quicker?
Re-med done in dec 2015, then pcc doc submitted in Feb 2016.. Nothing after that, I dnt hv that much patience now
I dnt if security chks is the last step or no??

Yes security is the last step. and MP inquiry is much quicker than notes. But I have seen some cases where because of the additional PCC it takes a long time to clear the security check.

How long? :'( this whole process sucks! There are ppl waiting for 2-3 years too..

medical expire -21 march
remedical - only xray -7 march ,


How much time they will take for PPR and DM. Please advise.
 
My wife is April 17 Applicant but no remed yet.....worried now..... first marriage straight forward case....same cast...same religion......same education background and family status......sent all the proofs about 150 pics, 200 page 6 months whatsapp chat.....call details with 100s of hrs per month talking on phone.......if they still doubt then they must be given biggest idiots on earth >:( >:( >:(

Hello, What was the exact date of medical submission. The CIC mentioned that health expires in 1 year from submission date.

yh, got email on Feb 06,2016
 
Hi so I did an mp Inquiry and what I got was :
- file is in new Delhi
- the progress in the file is very good
- there is an outstanding secret check and once that is completed the decision will be given very soon
- this may take a couple of months
 
Haven't been on these forums for awhile now, but would like to mention I got a RPRF payment request on Feb 18, and submitted the receipt the following day...have not heard back with any other updates

This is getting really depressing now as I'm a Jan 2015 applicant.

Good luck to all those waiting in the dark with very little updates on their files...
