Hi Nabaaf

Thank you for your response. I will take your suggestion. However, a post from one the users on this forum got me worried that if there's no visit from your spouse it affects your application. So i thought of updating them but I guess they probably have a way to know if the spouse has visited or not without having us to send in arrival/departure details. I think I will wait for NDVO to contact me in this case, if the need be.

Here's my timeline:

Application Received by CIC: August 10th, 2015
Medical Done: May 13, 2015
AOR 1: Sep 12, 2015
Sponsor Approval: Oct 5, 2015
AOR 2: Oct 21, 2015
In process: Oct 6, 2015

Thanks :)

Hi Jotzk,
Not really, I did not update my visits to India after applying for PR immediately after my marriage. I made couple of visits to India after application but I did not want my file to be pulled out from the normal processing procedure to add "not so required" information. May be because I thought our case had low risk and had already provided enough proof of marriage and time spent together right after the marriage. We already got PR visa without any problem. However, there is no harm in providing additional information to the NDVO. My opinion is that it might get your file delayed by couple of weeks though. So if you have already provided good enough proof of your marriage, then no need to worry.

Good luck.

Hey Guys

landed in canada 2 days back, there was no issue. the process is really simple. all u need is to carry the papers you receive with your passport. landing procedure will occur at the first point you touch in Canada. for me it was calgary. on the airplane u r given an immigration form to fill which is fairly small, simple and straight forward. once u land u have to go through immigration, from where they guide u to another section/room where ur landing procedure takes place. which in my case took all of 5mins. i gave my passport and landing papers to the officer, he asked a few general questions like is it my first marriage, have i ever committed any crime and how much currency i am carrying with me.... it was a smooth process.... just stay calm and confident. officers arent there to bite u......:)
best of luck to all the people in waiting.........hope u get ur visa soon..........:)
