NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

I have been away from Forum for some time. There is an update. We got remedical on 28th Jan 2016 and we got remedicals done on 4th Feb 2016. Waiting for DM/PPR.

Could you somebody update the sheet?

Hello Everyone,

I have emailed to minister of Immigration department saying why do you allow certain group of people on arrival visa( indicating positive side for Canadian Government) and same time I, a permanent resident and high tax contributor, have to suffer and wait for 2 years to get my spouse a visa!! I am still waiting on their reply!!


I request forum admin to add my details on the spreadsheet.

1. we received your application for PR on May 15,2015.
2. started processing your app on July 20, 2015.
3.medical results have been received ( doesn't say date).


they received my app on may 15th and by July 20th, they finished my assessment and sent my file to Delhi. On the same date I have got another email from NDVO conforming the transfer. medical was upfront.

Questions, what month do I consider for my reference? may 15th or July 20th? like people here are saying that they are working on March or April month application. I just want to get an idea. how long do I have to wait more?

people are saying that they are asking for re-medical, I was just thinking if we can submit second medical upfront or not ?( with respect of 6 month expiry on medical tests), did anyone do it??


I also have requested ATIP-AIPRP and expecting to get all information soon. Then I will probably able to see notes on my file and see the exact status of it.

has anyone considered for applying a work permit for your spouse while PR application is on going/IN-Process? ( this question is from one of my friend, he just applied for spousal visa and not ready to wait for so called 17 months )

hey, welcome to forum. :)

ans 2 ur ques, the reference that we make here is when the file received at CIC/IRCC. so as of now, jan-Apr files are getting updates. so u may have to wait for some more time for ur turn.

and regarding re medicals, u ll get a remdical request from NDVO once all ur checks r done and entry to canada is stuck because of medical invalidity. *dont do ur medical again without request* in certain cases, VO has all the rights to increase ur medical timeline. in recent times, we have seen one case with interview after remedical and ADR's after remedical.

and ans to ur work permit would be no. Only inland apps can apply for OWP. that too after 18 months, once ur eligibilty is confirmed. so basically, we outland app cannot apply OWP. that summarizes all ur queries.

don worry, jus few more days, ur turn will come.. al the best :)

So in my case, it starts from May 15th, got it.

and I observed on the spreadsheet that most applicants got re-medical request.

I am more worried about marriage pictures, I do not have many pictures of my wedding. We didn't have enough time.and my wedding was a small ceremony. Mainly due to lack of time.

Can you let me know how to upload my info on the spreadsheet? Or does the admin takes care of it?

We received your application for permanent residence on January 26, 2015.
We started processing your application on April 14, 2015.
Medical results have been received (Upfront)
 
April 23 applicant... Didnt hear anything yet:( fingers crossed for next week. Med done upfront march 21

This wait time is killing. I made a big mistake by updating my file without the request from NDVO. I went to visit my wife in december2015, and before coming back, my lawyer/consultant asked me to update the file with flight tickets, pics, etc for the recent visit. I am 26 jan 2015 applicant and still have not even recieved the remedical. We asked for notes and there was no red flag on it. Dont know what to do now!!
