Hi All, I want to know what is the general time frame once acknowlegment of file is received by NDVO i have got the AOR2 from NDVO now how much time will take to DM my status shows in progress. Also i want to know what all lines will come like medical received pcc received does these lines come on ecas on applicant page. Thanks.

8 to 10 months. if re-medical time could be 13 to 15 months.

As per my knowledge two baggages of 23 kgs r allowed
Per person along w carryon bags.
There r special packages for students allowing them to carry
3 baggages.

Is there any special package for family sponsor as well

So in my case, it starts from May 15th, got it.

and I observed on the spreadsheet that most applicants got re-medical request.

I am more worried about marriage pictures, I do not have many pictures of my wedding. We didn't have enough time.and my wedding was a small ceremony. Mainly due to lack of time.

Iam not mr.bond.. hehe.. mrs.bond ;D
April app r geting remedical now.. so u need 2 wait..
U don hav 2 wory abt pics..as long as u hav submited enuf proofs 2 prove ur relationship, things r in ur favour

One thing i wanna share.. if traveling by british airways, tc abt ur hand luggage.. either laptop or 7kg bag only allowed.. dey don allow both the bags.. and in dat 7kg u cannot carry clothes.. too many rules during check in.. so tc.. al the best.. njoy ur life!

This wait time is killing. I made a big mistake by updating my file without the request from NDVO. I went to visit my wife in december2015, and before coming back, my lawyer/consultant asked me to update the file with flight tickets, pics, etc for the recent visit. I am 26 jan 2015 applicant and still have not even recieved the remedical. We asked for notes and there was no red flag on it. Dont know what to do now!!

Did the Lawyer explain why you need to update your travel details with NDVO ? Are you a citizen ?

In any case hope for the best and I'm sure you will get there. Not sure why NDVO delayed it. Good luck buddy. Hope they speed up. Do an MP Enquiry too..

Any update frm urside....did u receive ur passport today???? Dont worry u vil receive ur passport soon...keep tracking it n be in touch with vfs.....sometimes it takes long fr few applicants....aftr all,visa officers r also humans n they too get lazy ;D

You can always pay extra to carry the third bag.

the two bags must be around 23 kgs and the carry bag has to be 7kgs and u can take ur laptop in addition in most airlines and u can take a gift pack if u have something that will reduce ur luggage and u can put more stuff , i never faced any problem with weight,

Yes v can xpect april 2015 for us but it all depends on how ndvo works in this coming 2 months....so v can actually predict updates fr us once may 2015 applicants r done with remed, dm or ppr....so till then v shld not keep false hopes coz that hurts alot wen v dont get what v expect....may be they can increase the speed of the process compare to now n it may be direct ppr fr future applicants like us ;D so jus be positive bt dont expect anything frm ndvo .....
According to me ur new pasport update wont affect ur file much...its an update n not additional document request...so in ur passport update situation,hope fr best....name of ur spouse is again a positive point fr ur case though either ways does not affect much bt it adds on to the genuiness of the relationship.....god bless u
