Its always preferable for sponsor to do MP inquiry.
1. Firstly you need to know who is your area MP. To know this google for the government website for canada. You will have option to find your MP. You need to enter your area zip code to know the name
2. You will also have a link to contact your MP, mostly there will be a mailing address that will be given.
3. Send a mail to them requesting for a time when you can talk, Also give a brief about the purpose of this meeting.
4. The MP office will respond back in two to three days from the time u contact them
5. They schedule for a telephonic meeting or face to face meeting.

they usually have a hot line number for NDVO, they call this number and give the update in two to three days time.

Thanks! I checked for my mp and there's only an email address no phone number. So I will send her an email. Hopefully she can help me out.

Any Feb applicants still waiting for dm or is it just me :(

anyones spouse came to canada on a one way ticket with a trv?

If yes did the immigration officer ask for the return ticket?

I did not have a return ticket with me while I entered and the officer at the entry advised me to have the return ticket next time I enter.

I had a return ticket but the officer did not ask me for my return ticket. Its always safe to have return ticket specially when you are going on TRV. you can do partial cancellation once you are there or you can reschedule the ticket to a later date may be 6 to 8 months from now :)

NDVO has started working on April applicants... some lucky ones also got PPRs... so wait and pray guys... Im a May applicant... still long way to go... April and May have more than 1500 applicants... so hang in there... I know its not easy... but we don't have any other choice... rather than waiting... so Pray to God to reduce this waiting time... hope we get PPR soon... God Bless all...
and About the Return ticket... its not necessary but its a plus point if you have as... sometime Immigration Officers can send u back from Airport... if u don't have return ticket... but some times they don't even bother to ask about return ticket... !!!... so to be on safer side... buy one!!!...

Why do consultancies not suggest Rev when PR is in process??????

Hi guys, i am new to this group but applied for spouse case long time ago (Jan 2015). I got to know about this website through one of my friend who had applied for same couple years back. As far as I have read the spreadsheet, it looks like 99% cases applied in January 2015 have got the PR or medical requests. I am really worried about my case. When I check online, it show:

We received your application for permanent residence on January 26, 2015.
We started processing your application on April 14, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Please suggest if this is normal? This Feb ending will be 13 months from the date applied.

Thanks for your thoughts

if u havent received remedical, then its time to order notes to check whether interview is recommended. any visible red flags in ur file?
