Not necessarily sometimes if all is ok, all the documents are there and the officer believes the relationship is genuine then you might get lucky and hear something in May! I've seen people get their status changed to DM in 10 months. I know waiting sucks, but you might be one of the lucky ones. I feel bad for 2014 applicants that are still waiting!

med. expired on feb 6th.
No remed request yet.
Anybody with same timeline who hasn't got remed yet?
wht shuld i do.

Congrats !!!, You have to send the photo copy of your baby birth certificate to NDVO address. We did sent thru case specific but they want hard copy,so we sent it to NDVO office attached with pictures and my son passport copy and other travel documents.
 
Are you guys not Canadian citizen? Why would you add your child if it is faster to apply for limited validity passport. Unless of course your not citizen then the only option is to add on child to your spouses pr application. :) congrats..
 
Preetgil, or anyone who has done remedical please help. After you did your remedical, did you inform CIC about it through email? Sending the copy of the receipt that you've done your medicals. If yes what was the email Id? Also, what did you write in the cover letter? Please help.

OMG. my wife just called me from India saying shes being approved for visa. She got a call from delhi immigration.She has to come to canada Before march 4th. She has to sent in her passport asap.No remedical is needed her orginal meds will expire on feb 19.Sooo happy and i just order the notes today..
 
Submitted the passport at vfs jalandhar today .. hope to get visa soon ...... my best wishes to all applicants with visa processing hope you all get good news soon
