Hello all, congrats to all who received ppr. God Bless You All.

got a interview call today. schedule on 2nd march. Anyone recently done, please share the experience.
I have some questions:
1. How to chose interpreter. NDVO has given a list. Anyone chosen from the list, please tell me which one( best) to choose. ( there are three lists).
2. what is the possibility, they will issue visa as they have asked to bring the passport. FYI medical is expiring 11th march.

3.lastly, do we need to worry? :'(

ohh application filed march 23rd 2015.

Thanks in advance.
Hello Prijal1425
2. In rare cases they issue visa immediately bt not seen any case recently....so keep ur fingers crossed n hope fr the best.....
3. U need to be calm n confident abt ur relationship information...if u take tension then u may land up in doing something wrong....so be constructive n collect as many proofs n documentation that can prove ur relationship is genuine....n stay positive...u vil get thru it ....nd yess how mike mentioned that u need to knw ur spouse in n out n everything so u both need to prepare urself very well ...apply fr notes to see what r the red flags according to visa officer that made him schedual ur case fr interview.....( u may check the link in my signature on how to apply fr gcms notes-- it will gv complete review about ur case)
Can u let us knw if u hv any idea why hv they schedual u fr interview...it vil be helpfull fr everyone?????
best wishess
Go thru interview questions in our spreadsheet 2015 and even u can check the interview question forum....definately u dont need to panic ....sometimes even straightforward cases also go thru interview...
Take it as a part of the processing n be relaxed n peacefull...
God bless u

Cheers :)

Hello singhGrewal.....
It will take minimum one week to one month to get update on ur file....so u may apply for notes aftr one month from the date of submission of additional documents....to see the update on ur file.....best wishes....
And regarding u getting any update frm ndvo so u need to wait slightly more then the applicants who applied around ur date of application received date as adr delays the file fr abt 2-3 months bt surely its a good sign for ur file... God bless u

Cheers :)

Hii everyone!

I got DM on 6th February and today, the PPR came- on 9th February. So that makes it 13 months & 3 days since my Application had been filed. God knows how torturous this entire wait has been, but I'm so soo happy that it's finally over.

This Forum has been extremely helpful throughout this time & I hope & pray that all of you get your PPRs soon. Thanks for all the help. I'm guessing that NDVO people are working on the 2014 & Jan-Feb backlog for now, so all those waiting patiently, will soon get updates. All the Best, guys. :)
Hello surabhi..
Congratulationssss..god bless u....
So its the 8th ppr of the day guyssss...yippeeeeeee :P :P :P

Hello everyone,

I am currently filling the application to sponsor my wife. I am a PR in Canada sponsoring my wife in India. I have a question about the form IMM 5475 (Authority to release personal information to a designated individual). In future (after submitting the application), if I need to get the information about my wife's application, will I be authorized automatically (being the sponsor) OR does my wife have to fill in this form now designating me as the individual to release the information?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Friends,

I received the Passport request today :P 8) ;D Hip Hip Hurray!!

I am wishing all the best for rest of the applicants... God bless everyone :)

Thanks everyone. I wish everyone speedy PPRs.

My spouse is on TRV. She landed recently (about three weeks ago) but we didn't change any mailing address on eCAS. We are planning to take the Ottawa option to mail her passport. Is there a need to inform NDVO that we submit passport in Ottawa? If so, how should they be informed?
Anyone in similar situation currently or in past or someone who has an opinion on it, please share.

Thanks!

Any comments?

CIC places the onus on the applicant to submit the passport within the stipulated time. They don't care if you submit it in your VO or Ottawa. All you need to ensure is that your spouse is in Canada for 3 months from the date you send the passport to Ottawa. Go through the PPR email and if they haven't mentioned that you need to inform your VO then you don't have to worry about it.
There aren't many applicants on this thread who have been in a similar situation so if you want a second opinion you might consider asking your query in the 2014 forum.
Also, please let us know what you finally decide to do so that if any of our members find themselves in a similar situation, they'll have some guidance.

Congrats Suhrabi!

Does anyone have a contact number for CIC New Delhi? I called the CIC office here in Canada but wow they make it practically impossible to reach an agent who doesn't even help. A waste of 2+ hours.

I got DM on Jan 17 and still no PPR so I was wondering if calling the CIC ND would be any help? I've made case specific enquiries but no answer. So so frustrating

Anyone have any info please?
