Yeah don't worry eligibility is the biggest thing and if that is clear then you're almost at the end. Unless you are a criminal of any sorts you don't have to worry about criminality. (That was said in a lighter tone) And I guess background checks depend on your residential locations in the past 10 years..sometimes information can be gathered quickly, sometimes not.. you know how it is in our country. With eligibility passed atleast you know that they don't have any doubts about your relationship, so relax and wait patiently. There are many applicants who applied before you and they are also waiting. So no reason to worry.

Help Required ( very Urgent )
CEC Application

Wife's PR Applied on Oct 2014 : - My wife is on close work permit and is in Canada for 4 years. She applied for PR in the month of August 2014 and she got the file number on Oct 22nd, 2014 and medicals were submitted in the month of May 2015 and she was waiting for her PR

We got married in September 2015 and her status got changed from single to married in her file and we applied for addition of spouse on Oct 16th Oct 2015 in the same file and waiting for medicals for me ( Husband who is in India ) where we have given the fees of $550 in Oct 2015 only ( 1st Phase fees )

Need to know few things :-

1. When can be medical expected
2. What is the duration they take
3. Applied visitor visa twice and rejected with a foolish reason ( travel history,family ties etc )

Can anyone guide ?

Dear friends,

Just got up to get ready for the office. Checked mails and what a pleasant surprise. My wife too has received her PPR. It states clearly to submit PP within 30 days through VFS or Ottawa option.

what additional docs did they ask you and when did you submit them?? its kind of confusing on the spreadsheet....will add it to the notes so people can refer.

They asked me Additional Docs Wich included
PCC of both the countries where I have travelled and stayed since birth and den medical receipt Landing Fees receipt Wich I paid that's it 4 major docs I sent to NDVO on Aug 1st

these come with ur AOR2 mail.. these r common for everybody..

Hi Khan,

I applied for my wife and have the application date May 5, 2015, just wanted to know are you the sponsorer or the one getting sponsored?, since once they transferred the file NDVO I have not heard anything since (as in nothing after AOR2)

From the way its going hopefully April starts soon and then may will be in picture
