Some relief. Just got an email for MP office that they have changed the email address. Now the wait begins. Our medicals expire on ~Feb 15. Hope to get some request by that date. Is AOR2 important document for retention as we didn't get the document as it was sent to the wrong email address.

The only important information you find on an AOR2 is the Applicant's UCI number. If you did not get AOR2, you can find out UCI by ordering notes.

Thanks for the quick reply. We know the UCI number from the visitor visa application. Good thinking that it clicked that it should be on the visa.

Congratulations to all those who have received DM and PPR :)

Hopefully march applicants will hear this week (I have my fingers crossed that my hubby gets his re-med requests this week)..

I was a permanent resident at the time of the application but became a citizen in Sept 2015. I was under the impression my status doesnt matter once the file is in NDVO but still now am having second thoughts.. Anyone has any experience with this..

1) Do I need to notify CIC about my status change from - permanent resident in Canada to Canadian Citizen?
2) What is the process to notify?

Thanks in advance!

March 16 applicant.
Waiting for remed. Hopefully this week!
Best of luck to everyone.
Hoping for everyone to get PPR soon! ;D

I think we are the only people who actually look forward to Mondays hehe. Already 2 updates since morning and let's hope we hear more by the end of the day.
According to the spreadsheet March has the highest number of applicants so it'll take NDVO some time to cover all applications. I hope any remaining Jan and Feb applicants get an update within this week.
One request for all those who have got ADR, please let us know the date on which you submitted your additional documents (PS070315 and itslaeq). BMN please confirm your dates because I think I read 17th December somewhere in your posts. Thanks.

December 17th I got am email asking for ADR and I sent it all that exact day on December 17th. NDVO revieced it on the 24th of December.
Still no updates :(

Hello
1)regarding ur first question some experienced member will surely reply to u....
2)u may notify ndvo for any update or change thru case specific enquiry and even writting them email with attached document to prove so....soon it will be updated bt u wont be getting any kind of notification .....to be confirm that changes are made one may order notes, one or two weeks aftr the enquiry ....there u will find all ur updated details......

Status doesnt matter at all whthr u r permenant resident or citizen.....only difference between PR holder n Citizen is that citizen can vote and pr holder cant vote till they become citizen.......
I hope this helps ;)

And as u r march applicant so ur time is near....stay strong :P

Cheers :)

MP enquiry may not be the best approach for you for now. Its better to go for notes first, so that if you have to go to the MP later you can atleast tell him or her that there are no concerns in your notes.
