I have never applied for any trv for any country. I dnt have any travel history too.
Its just I got married to NRI. And I want to be with him at least for first anniversary.
That's the only reason I want to go.
Reason for rejection are many.. Lyk I'm not workin and no travel history.
But a strong reason for acceptance is I want to be with my spouse on our first anniversary as he can't visit India..
Pls guide me about the documentation

Hey apply with a positive mind.. In our spread sheet there is one tab whr one person has given how to apply TRV...
Give all the documents an thn cover letter is very very important.. I went with an attorney from canada. My husband contacted them an from canada he did d processing.

The cases I am talking about also had no job, no travel history but the cover letter matters.. Also take letters from your husbands friends who are in the same place as he lives stating you guys got married in so an so place an they attended the wedding or their family member attended d wedding.. These are additional proof.. Tell that you have applied for spousal PR an share the file number, give the remedial receipt tht u did for spousal.. I gave all these documents.. It came upto 90 pages.. But at the end I had my My visa...


It took solid one month to collate an consolidate all the documents.. Apply as early as you can.. Most of the time it so happens tht ur takes 1 month to one an half month to get it..

Medicals are valid for a year and your visa will have the same validity as your medical. So you will have to land before 3 Jan 2017.

To my knowledge , they usually issue 6 months of visa . Again it might depend on VO . Correct me if i am wrong

You should apply for notes in 15 days. If it says eligibility passed then there is no need to renew the passport.

i applied for notes on 2nd january
but i saw a sample ppr email from ndvo, that says your passport must valid for atleast next 6 months from todays date
is it true or this just applies to visitor visas only.???

hey Guys, need your help with something. I am a new permanent resident landed on 28th July 2015. With god's grace, I got a nice job in one of the reputed companies.
Now I am going back to my home country(India) in April 2015 to get married to my girlfriend and will be back in May 2015. Please let me know what all options do I have to bring my wife to Canada with me as soon as possible.

I am assuming if I apply for an outland application, it would take about 10-15 months for her to get Permanent resident visa and come here...Is there any other option that I have??

I am thinking what if she comes along with me as a tourist. Can I apply for inland application and ask for a work permit aswell? Can I ask her to apply for a tourist visa right now ; or we need to wait until we get married to apply for her tourist visa? Does CIC approves tourist visa in these cases? what chances do I have?

As our file got updated online on 9th Oct online but my husband has not received any email from NDVO.

According to this forum as well as 2014 forum's senior members....Yesss u can send ur passport to ottawa fr stamping and even do the landing thru US border,there is no need for ur spouse to come to india n then do the landing procedure....in ur ppr email it will be mentioned clearly that if the applicant is inside canada then send the passport to ottawa........be relax n keep praying as u r the next one to get good news from ndvo...best of luck 8)

yes the applicant gets an email to confirm from the ndvo that they have started the process. your husband will get his UCI number.....how did you check his online status without his UCI number??

HI Guys,
I got a question, I applied for visitors TRV for my wife on 19 NOV 2015 on-line, then we got a letter from them to submit the passport to finalise visitor visa on 5 dec, 2015 and we submitted through VFS on 9, december havnet got any response till yesterday when I emailed CIC Chandigarh that we are stressed and mentally harassed about the processing of the application and no reply are provided to us even the processing time for the application passed by 4 weeks and even the time for for which we got NOC for vacation for my wife is completed. and yesterday afternoon they called and scheduled interview for visitor visa next week. my main concern is we have PR application in process as well does that effect that file. :'( :'( :'(

It not mandatory , but it is suggested to book flights . In my case , applied with just itenary itself

Just go online and check ur status .thats all.. NDVO does not send emails regarding status updates.
