Hi...
M march applicant and was planning to apply for notes but since i saw many ppl hu applied for notes and did not see nythng in notes...i mean...nothing was started on the file for them...so i dropped the idea of applying notes in dec.
Will b applying notes in january in cas i do not hear nythng from ndvo.
If u are having a fewling tht u shud apply for notes... u must do it..there i no harm in doing that.....rather u wid get smthing to knw abt ur file proceedings.

my husband applied for notes on my behalf but we havent heard anything yet, hoping that this waiting season will be over soon, our anniversary is on 3rd jan, really wish to be together, fingers crossed.............

I am also waiting till Jan. I may apply around 3rd or 4th week of jan if I don't hear anything from NDVO. At this point of time I feel nothing would have started on the files for any of the March applicants/files that were received in month of May at New Delhi

My husband's med expired on 5 Dec

application received Feb 23.

i think they will now process our case in January or Feb.

Its ok...dont worry.....hope u hear soon...
Ndvo mightbtouch files of march in jan..because it will b 10 months then...
N they must show some changes in files when these reach 10th month....
So hopefully u will hear much better than just remedicals soon.

Yeah...hopefully .....there is nonstraight forward trend being followed by ndvo whch cn clear out the picture.
This procedure needs to be more transparent than this usual process.
I wish all january n feb applicants get their visas.
Bcz i knw how frustrating it wud be for those not getting pprs n others hu applied later got visas...
Hope u guys get the gift from SANTA this xmas.

Hey everybody!

My husband received his visa this morning!!!!!!!
This forum has been so useful throughout the whole process- thank you to everybody Smiley Smiley Smiley - here's wishing that everyone receives their visas super fast.

A few details about our file:
Applied: 9 Feb 2015
in process: 9 oct 2015
medicals expring on 16 Jan 2016.

We received a call on 16 Dec from NDVO asking if my husband could travel before 16 Jan.
He obviously said yes Smiley we've been patiently and anxiously waiting....
the person who called sent us an email immediately after, which said we need to go to the embassy the next day and get our visa stamped at on the same day(this procedure was new to us)

So this morning my husband received his visa and landing papers.

We had applied for gcms notes on 6Nov and received them on 6Dec (they said nothing had started not even eligibility)
we were very dissappointed to see that - but this shows that since GCMS notes are a month old, anything can happen!

Our online status still says IN PROCESS.

They also told my husband at the embassy that since our file was so straightforward and we provided all the proof necessary and we organised it so well they didnt see any reason to not give it so quickly. Smiley Smiley Smiley

we both are sooooooo happy at the moment.
I will continue to pray that everyone's files are processed fast.

Hello All.

Delay post from my side.

I am happy to share the news that my spouse has got PPR request on Dec 15th 2015.

I am a Feb 16th 2015 applicant.

She got a call from NDVO on December 15th and the person asked her that "Your medical is expiring on Feb 10th , would you be able to travel to canada before that ?"

In the response of course she said Yes.

We are still waiting for Passport to come back from NDVO with visas.

My application time line.

Application Received :- Feb 16th 2015.
Medical : Feb 5th 2015.
AOR2:- May 12 2015.
PPR:- Dec 15th 2015.

My ECAS status is still IN PROGRESS.

first thing i would like to congratulate you for your visa. I would like to know whats the validity on the visa i mean how long the visa is valid for? Any binding on when to travel as in my case i would have to resign from my current job and serve notice period for probably 2 months.
