Hi beautiful bc
almost every June applicant is In Process...

I sponsored my wife
File received - June 09, 2015
AOR - July 14, 2015
SA - August 03, 2015
AOR2 from NDVO - August 11,2015

Status changed to In Process on August 03rd, 2015... and now waiting

Do you feel June 2015 applications are in IP.. Do you know how many?

Hey Draxz,

don't worry. All the new applicants from June/July 2015 are fake "in-process" by NDVO. Probably they are following some new procedure so that all applicants feel that their file is being looked at.

Most likely it means they changed the definition of being "in-process" for the new applicants.

Thanks rambopg for the reply +1. Yes I was assume the same as well; how can an June/July 2015 applicant go IP skipping an entire years worth of applicants highly unlikely.

I dont feel that June applicants are In process already.. It just may be is only a new trend CIC is following :)

All the Best

Hi frnds...NDVO has increased processing tym nw its 17 months :(

What are the chances of Visitor's visa being approved while the spousal PR is also being processed?
If visitor's visa gets rejected, would it negatively impact the PR approval timeline?

Would you folks recommend that visitors visa be applied for?

New member here.

Got married a couple months ago in Cochin , India.

Met my wife through two mutual friends, chatted on skype for a month. Met her ( She was working there for the last couple years) and her parents for the first time in Dubai during Easter holidays. She met my parents as well then ( my parents are working in Dubai).

A month later, traveled to India and got married.

A question about photographs. I have about 40 photographs for the engagement ( held two days before the wedding) , 75 or so pictures printed for the wedding and engagement . Is that a good number ? Do I need to get more ?

Also, a few days after the wedding, we attended the baptism and first communion of my wife's sisters' daughter . I do have 30 or so pictures from that function.

In the coming days, we attended another two engagements ( both my cousins) and one baptism( my school mates daughter) . Will including pictures of all these additional functions be a good thing ?

I m currently in the process of getting all the forms filled out. I was thinking the option C form could be printed off the CRA "my account". I don't see that option there. So had to call in for that ( the IVR does say you can get option C from "my account"). That's another 10 days i guess.

Hey,
Applying or getting rejected for visitor visa does not affect ur PR application.

If your spouse is working, then it probably is easier to show that she/he will return back to their country.

Please follow the following visitor visa thread of NDVO and how people successfully got viitor visa.

I think 75 photos is enough. As long as you are showing all your religious wedding ceremony.
And your photos of attending functions together also helps! But I think 30 photos for each function is over kill.

I had tried getting option c from website but couldn't. I could only order through the automated phone call.

AR- June 17, 2015

Still no word on SA, but the call center agent told me my file's been shipped off to NDVO on August 17, 2015. Both sides currently show 'In-Process'.

Just wait, your SA must be in the regular mail. It takes 1-2 weeks to arrive at your home. Since your file was shipped on Aug. 17, you should get your SA in the mail by Aug. 25!

cheers.

hi every one

Hi botsmith2004,
Both are two different categories ,so no need to worry, you can proceed visitor visa while your spouse visa is under process..
To approve visitor visa depends upon your documentation, so submit it accordingly.
For your information, i applied visitor visa while my spouse application under process and got it,
Good Luck !!
