NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

Getting married in November. If I apply in November for Spousal PR, then under the current timeline, she would get PR by Mar - Apr 2017.
But her Indian passport expires in March 2017 and she cannot apply for passport renewal till Mar 2016. But PR application will start in Nov-Dec 2015.

How do I go about ensuring her application does not get rejected due to her passport? Please help!

Your timeline is way off
It currently takes 60 days for the first stage for getting sponsorship approval and keep in mind dec is the slowest month and the processing time went to 90 days last year when we applied - given the holidays; we applied on Oct 28th and got SA Jan 19th and AOR2 from Delhi Feb 4th. We are still waiting.. and they are processing application from sept/oct/nov 2014..

So you should get your AOR2 from Delhi say Feb then you add 8-9 months which is the avg processing time for straight forward application and it could take 17 months in total so 8-9 months from Feb is Oct 2016 when you should get/hear back.

Yes I am June 9th...got SA on August 3rd and file reached Delhi...got AOR2 from Delhi on Aug 10th

Check this out. Though you are IP its really not IP since the your file just reached. Its taking 8-9 months from AOR2

If thats the new trend then y not everyone ... Coz practically everyones file is in processing .... Then y have the ecas of few people changed to ip ???? And not all ??? Ndvo is so confusing!!! Even the point that processing dates are not mentioned ... Raises eyebrows???

Ip immediately after sa seems to be less of important .... Just an opinion coz it takes months to see ur file in " inprocess"
Rest is upto ndvo... ThEycan shower their blessings on noeone
