Hello,

I got an email for SA approval but I see below statement in the communication I received although my spouse submitted upfront medicals. Anyone in similar situation?

"Requirement for Medical Examination

If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original

Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Up-
front Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination

and, once completed, forward this information directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy

of this letter. Your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative

must forward the medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her

application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application."

Hi guys, i need some help. I filed spouse sponsorship application from canada in june 2015. Can i go back to India and live with my husband, till he gets his visa? Would it effect the spouse application? Please guide me through.
Application filed in Mississuaga office:24 June, 2015
No AOR1 or SA recieved yet
All this waiting period is adding to my depression

Hey,

If you are a PR the sponsor should remain in Canada while the process for application is in progress and only a citizen is allowed to remain outside the country. Are you going for a visit or to live there until their application is processed?

It is accepted that a short visit of 2-4 weeks is considered fair and anything longer will only raise a flag since as mentioned a PR should be in the country. Informing NDVO will not have an impact on speeding up the process.

You are just starting your wait so don't get start to feel that way since its another 10-11 months wait. Keep your self busy and concentrate your energy and time on other things and trust me it will make your time go quickly.

Thanks for the valuable info. Yes, the best way to keep oneself busy.

I received AOR2 end of June but still I don't see MR update when I check online. I still see Application received. Is this expected?

Mine status said-
application received dated xxxxxx
Medical results received.
Since after receiving AOR2 dated 09-06-2015

I think that's not normal. It clearly says that your file has deficiency of medical certificate that means may be they didn't received any medical due to any issue or lost e medical receipt.

Normally they says send the copy of landing fees receipt if not submitted and,
Submit PCC if not submitted before.

So just double check it carefully. Also check your ECS status from new UCI received upon transfer to your visa office. If it says medical results received, then all is fine else contact them ASAP.

I spoke to my lawyer today...I was told that the normal letter they send it to everyone. Can you please check if you see same statement in your sponsor letter you received?

Also after how long later after receiving AOR2 you see MR received?

approx 2 to 3 weeks

I was able to see ECS status as updated Medical results received after 3-4 days of AOR2 receiving
So just confirm it on ECS as precautionary measure. We all wants to get approved ASAP with no delays due to any reason

You can certainly trust your lawyer words as they handle such applications on daily basis on the other hand check on ECS regularly too for the updates.

Tihompra01, the question about medical deficiency was from SA (Sponsorship approval). And in SA everyone gets the same wording, you or ur sponsor should have received it too.

In AOR2, they ask for PCC and RPRF if not already sent/paid.

As for nan_69. Wait for 2-3 weeks. If ECAS still showing medical not received then send a cover letter (saying this is my medical), a copy of your AOR2 and the copy of the medical receipt in an envelope to New Delhi office.
